Webinars

Q.What is a webinar?
Ans.A webinar is a conference call. With one very subtle difference. The screen of the presenter can be seen by all who log on to the call. So the presenter can display powerpoints, or any useful information. Presenters present. Listeners listen. At the end of the presentation we invite questions from everyone on the call. If you would like to find out more details about the service - go to the website www.gotowebinar.com and see the help information available.

Q.How can I ask a question?
Ans.You can ask a question if you have a headset with microphone, or you use the telephone number you see when you log into the website for the call Normally all listeners are muted because we get a lot of noise. So to ask a question there are two ways to notify the panellists. You can open the questions box you see, and tap in a question. We will come to you in order. And we wil announce you on the call, and ask you to ask the question live. Alternatively you can raise your hand. See the gotowebinar site to find out how to do this before the call. If you have neither telephone, nor headset, then put the word OFFLINE in front of the question and we will read it out. BUT we will always give priority to people who are willing to speak on the call. It creates a better atmosphere. More questions? then look at the HELP and SUPPORT section on gotowebinar.com

Q.How will I be notified?
Ans.If you are already a member, then you will be notified of all new webinars by email. You will find a link in these email to register for the call. Once you have registered, you will recieve the joining instructions. But if you are a new member...DONT PANIC If you have only just registered as a new silver member, you will see the joining instructions on the WEBINAR SCHEDULE you see when you log in. You can also find instructions, on one of Rachel's threads on the forum

Q.How do I access the webinar archive?
Ans.Only paid members can access the archive, so you need to be at least a silver member. And the webinars will appear in the vault. If we find that we get response problems, the files are very big, we will consider sending them out on DVD - watch this space.
